Birch Creek parishioners remembered by candlelight on Easter Vigil

Fr. Jubish Joseph, pastor of Holy Redeemer Parish in Birch Creek, spent his Holy Saturday lighting 307 candles, with each candle representing one of the Parish families.
Asked how long it took him to do this, Fr. Jubish said, "It took four hours to place and light the candles. All through that time I was praying 307 'Hail Mary's,' one for each family. It was a wonderful spiritual experience for me too."
With all 307 candles burning brightly for the Easter Vigil Mass, Fr. Jubish said, "My parishners were specially remembered, and I felt a personal presence of them in the church."
Thank you, Fr. Jubish, for your dedicated prayers and ministry to the people of Birch Creek!
