Join us from the U.P. to D.C.

Join Fr. Ryan Ford with parents and students from Holy Name High School in Escanaba on a pilgrimage to Washington, D.C. for the National March for Life.
When: Wednesday, January 22nd to Sunday, January 26th
What: The National March for Life
Who: Hundreds of thousands of people from around the country
Why: To give voice to the voiceless, advocate for positive change, and pray for healing for all those affected by abortion
Cost: $450 includes: bus transportation from Escanaba, quad-occupancy at Hampton Inn-Navy Yard, pre-loaded Metro card, and participation in all March for Life events
Itinerary:
Wednesday, January 22nd
5:00pm: Depart Holy Name high school, Escanaba to D.C.
Thursday, January 23rd
7:00am: Breakfast stop
11:00am: Check-in at hotel, tour Pope St. John Paul II National Shrine
5:00pm: Mass for Life, Basilica Shrine of the Immaculate Conception
7:30pm: Dinner on own
Friday, January 24th
7:00am: Life Fest Rally, EagleBank Arena, Fairfax
1:00pm: March for Life, National Mall
5:00pm: Dinner and sightseeing
Saturday, January 25th
Free day for sightseeing after morning Mass at hotel
9:00pm: Depart on bus from D.C.
Sunday, January 26th
6:30am: Mass and breakfast at Sacred Heart Major Seminary, Detroit
4:00pm: Arrive to Escanaba

Registration: Space is limited to the first 15 people. Register below! $100 deposit is due at registration. Final balance is due January 10th, 2025. Anyone under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult chaperone (parent/guardian or chaperone designated by parents).

  I understand this event will take place away from parish grounds and my child will be under the supervision of designated adults on the stated dates. I further consent to the conditions stated above on participation in this event, including the method of transportation.
  
  In consideration of my child being allowed to participate in this activity, I hereby agree on behalf of myself and my child, to release the individuals in charge, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Marquette, Holy Name Catholic School, and any and all affiliated organizations, their employees, agents and representatives, including volunteer drivers (collectively “Releases”) from any and all claims, including negligence, which may be asserted by me or my child, or on behalf of my child, arising from or relating to my child’s participation in this activity.

  • The purchase, possession, or consumption of illegal drugs by participants will result in immediate dismissal from the pilgrimage. The possession of drug paraphernalia will also result in immediate dismissal. You will be dismissed and need to be picked up via your own personal contacts.
