Totus Tuus is a summer missionary experience led by multiple teams of college-age students from U.P. campuses and beyond. Totus Tuus is Latin for 'totally yours,' and expresses the spirit of handing oneself over totally into Jesus and Mary's hands to be sent on mission.
Each summer, the teams spend a week of training in June preparing. Then they are sent to parishes around the U.P. and Wisconsin to facilitate five days of programming for elementary, middle, and high school students.
Each day is filled with singing, teaching, playing, acting out saint biographies, and more. The days are long and the pay is minimal, but the experience and growth is invaluable.
Madi Hollman from Michigan Tech University spent a summer as a Totus Tuus missionary. She shares about how God worked in her life that summer in the video below.
